Kodo Butoku Renmei, in conjunction with Waveform, the event's sponsor, is proud to invite you to the traditional martial arts event of 2005. This is an exciting opportunity to train with masters from Japan, USA, Canada, Italy, Ireland, Austria, Switzerland, Spain and England. Teaching at the event will be more than 20 international masters and teachers of aikido, karate, ju-jitsu, kobudo and many other arts. There will be a masters' reception and a fantastic participants' party at which to get to know everyone. And at the reception there will be a formal Kagamiwari (sake barrel opening), seen rarely outside Japan. The event will be staged in the beautiful and bustling market town of Stratford-upon-Avon, William Shakespeare's birthplace, which has many attractions and historic architecture dating back to the twelfth century. It also borders the rolling countryside of the Cotswolds and neighbouring historic towns of Royal Leamington Spa and Warwick, all in the heart of England and easily accessible by air, road and rail networks.
