Hans Georg Bilazewski-kyoshi was born in 1940 in Vienna, Austria, where he continues to live and teach today. He began training in the martial arts in 1956, and has trained at the Asko Karate Zentrum in Vienna. Today, Bilazewski-kyoshi holds hachidan, eighth dan, in shindo-ryu karatedo and nidan, second dan, in judo. He also holds the kyoshi shogo (title) and is shibucho (branch director) for the Zen Austria Shindo-Ryu Karate-Do Renmei. Bilazewski-kyoshi and the students of the Zen Austria Shindo-Ryu Karate-Do Renmei have made numerous trips to England to participate in international martial arts events, as well as making several trips to study and teach martial arts in Australia, China, Japan and Okinawa.
